G40 Art Summit | Opening Night

….last night was the opening reception for the G40 Art Summit here in Washington DC….it was amazing and I spent most of my time speaking with people instead of making pictures….but here are a few shots that Bernadette and I managed to get….

….a few more installation details….

….I was interviewed for a new documentary on the contemporary art scene….more details on that later….

….two of my favorite collectors stopped by….thanks Kristine and Jeremiah!….

….the show was pretty much packed all night….it’s great to see that DC has so many art fans….

….this was one of the only pieces that I didn’t create specifically for this show….but I thought it was appropriate….shelties represent….

….I had a bunch of new books to browse….

….special thanks to Bernadette’s dad for stopping by to peruse my installation….

….there was so much great work on display, but this photograph by Craig Robinson was definitely one of the best pieces….

….and this mural by Sylvia Ortiz was one also of the best pieces in the entire show….

….thanks to the Ancient Astronauts for traveling all the way from Germany and providing some great tunes….
